LANDINGS 25 takeover of @falmouthphotographyonline :: Today, the artists of the Habitats research cluster continue their response to ‘Borders’, introduced in yesterday’s post. Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTNs) are a new urban border. They aim to reduce through-traffic on residential streets. However, they can be hugely unpopular with other residents sparking debate about democracy, traffic displacement and long term sustainability.

Gayle Hallowell

Jill Richford
Green door: no way in and no way out and no solutions.

Vittore Buzzi
“There is no separation between architecture and nature; there is a connection.” – Toyo Ito

Tommy Martin
Work in progress from my ongoing project titled ‘Monoculture’, exploring the liminal spaces that exist between the urban and the natural.

Scott Murphy
“Borders aren’t just lines on a map; they’re political, historical, and constantly shifting.”
